I'm aware that I've become a bit of a celebrity around here so perhaps now you all will listen to me. While it's true that Frances and I have been working together on something that will be revealed at a later time, the message I wish to convey now is that I will not be ridiculed by the likes of Alex. Yeah Monty, PHD or not, you just don't have much common sense. Don't take that the wrong way....I mean none of us are perfect. By the way, that whole bar code thing is just silly....you do know that don't you?

Maybe I'm getting myself in deeper trouble with Monty by saying this but.....I can't keep quiet any longer. The word around here is that he and one or two others are cooking up something big. I mean really big. As I understand it, I'm to be his main target but his plan will effect a whole lot of others too. I just wanted to give you a heads up.

Okay, listen to this. Monty came into the store where I work and he was talking to one of the baggers at the checkout and when Alex was mentioned he got this glazed look on his face and a big sneer. Then he said, and you can quote me on this, "I know how to deal with Alex and it won't be pretty".
